Kitty darlin' - check out some of the photographs on my 'profile' you'll see what it looks like from there, the breakfast and lunch bar are right beside the swimming pool.

Kitty darlin', may I recommend a place in the sun for you both. The Ascos Beach Hotel in Paphos (Cyprus). Its a Thomas Cook hotel and they do 'All Inclusive' deal, which means, the food, and the drinks (up to & including cocktails) is all part of the deal. Jean and I were there in 2010 and I went back by myself last September - it was fabulous!!!

Hi Kitty, I love pencil fish they are so laid back but we had an unfortunate accident with two a few weeks ago. (stupid men again)! My OH was cleaning the tank and decided to trim back a fantastic plant that grew like grass and floated along the top of the tank, my two pencil fish loved hiding in their, shock horror yep you've guessed it out they went in the bin with the trimmings!! I could have trimmed him, it was too late to save them because before we had noticed they were missing of course they had gone to the rainbow bridge. I have three more now though and no plant as it withered after that. I don't know what it was called but I would love to find another one like it, I always check out all the plants in the fish shops but not found one like it yet. Neons are nice little fish and quite hardy to. bye for now x

Thank you for adding me as a friend Kitty. I am not a fish expert by any means but it's nice to chat with someone with the same interest. If you have a look at my profile and photo album my tank is on their.
regards Kath x

Kitty darlin' - have posted this recipe on the frum previously, but in case you didn't see it - try doing the lamb slightly differently. Make a marinade of: 1/2 pt Orange juice, 3 Tblsp Apricot Jam, 3 Tblsp Soy sauce, 5 - 6 cloves of garlic (crushed) and 1 Tsp dried rosemary. Leave lamb in marinade for several hours or overnight. When ready to cook, strain lamb joint from marinade and dry roast in a roasting tin for approx 35 - 40 mins. Remove from heat, strain off excess fat and pour marinade over joint. Return to oven and cook until joint is done, basting in marinade at frequent intervals.
