New Camera

I have just taken delivery of a new camera.

I've decided to upgrade to a full frame professional entry camera that has more whistles and bells than the Flying Scotsman.

So for the next week or so it's going to be a very steep learning curve. While the basic principles of photography still apply, there is so much more to develop within those principles.

The first thing I have noticed is that the digital noise is far, far less than my crop factor camera, which is going to improve my ratio of keepers by a factor of 10.

The in-camera processing is way in excess of what I had previously - so I'm really looking forward to the next few weeks.

Not bad! Those are good, double glazing is a pain, my camera barely copes.

I know what you mean about the light just lately. I've started leaving my camera at home when it's dark because I'm never happy with the results...

Good photos Poo, just need to work on the processing.

I'm trying to get some full frame kit, used, if it's going cheap. A ten year old body with nifty fifty.

Have you thought about M34 for bird photography?
