Re: China financial worries

It's all googligook to me Julie, they may just as well blame China as anyone else for the financial mess the world is in, sour grapes if you ask me, financial experts got us into to it, let the financial experts figure it out and get the headaches as far as I'm concerned.

Re: China financial worries

Nothing in our newspapers at all. You would expect something if it was serious as our economy is very much China focused. When China sneezes we catch cold.

Our bigger worry is the behaviour of our macho, half witted Mad Monk of a Prime Minister:

Tony Abbott could hardly have got off to a worse start in managing Australia's most important and complex diplomatic relationship. If he does not change his tune, Beijing will start inflicting pain. Abbott seems not yet to understand how much pain it can inflict, on him and on Australia. He will soon learn. He is about to get a lesson on the nature of power.

China was already uneasy about Abbott before he became Prime Minster because of things he'd said in opposition about Chinese investment, Tibet and Taiwan. But its anger now is about the Abbott government's approach to strategic tensions in north-east Asia, especially between China and Japan.

You can only view the Telegraph pages so many times before they ask you to subscribe - wait for a month and you can then view free again.

As I said odd, I read the telegraph almost everyday and comment too so they must know I am there and never paid a penny.

It is odd - I get stopped when I've viewed whatever quota it is that they've set.

That's odd BV I am not aware that I have been viewing pages there but I do go to links posted by members on here and on our sister site Dogsey so I guess that must be it.
