Happy Thursday Folk.

Taken at one of our local country parks. Shopping day today which means a pub lunch and a pint. I stripped my pear tree yesterday and got two bucketsful. I inadvertently missed one and a couple of hours later I saw a sqirrel munching at it on the roof of my garden shed.

Good morning Alan and all who venture here

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHz9PfH-Eps

It's rain again, cold winds and dark clouds, a perfect December day, Oops, it is only September. Mother Natures feathered friends are dashing about in search of their breakfast with hardly a song between them.

Plans for today are to have a have a relaxing morning before having lunch with friends and then going on a treasure hunt in the afternoon.. The night is quizz night.

Slater Bridge, Langdales

Have a wonderful day everyone

Re: Happy Thursday Folk.

Morning everyone from a wet and dull Sherwood.

Just got back from the forest with the dogs and enjoying coffee before chopping some more wood ready for the coming winter..brrrrr..

Out for lunch later to the local carvery, to celebrate our friend's birthday (73 today)...and then back here for tea and birthday cake afterwards.

Enjoy your own day folks..

Morning everyone

Dull and cloudy here today, but dry, i dont mind as long as it is dry.

Two more days at work and then a week off cannot wait, lots to do in the garden and to go for long walks to clear the cobwebs.

Enjoy your day whatever you have planned

Glencoe

Good Morning Everyone Very wet start so far, typical as I am going into Glasgow for lunchtime to meet my friend Margaret for a coffee and a natter! If it is still heavy rain, we will just stay in the Central Station and go into one of the coffee shops there!

Hope everyone will enjoy a good day.

Lovely photos and links as well Bob, thanks for sharing.

Take care

Re: Happy Thursday Folk.

Good morning all.
Another sunny and cold morning here. Dare I say, we need some rain! Our ground is very dry and the lawn has shrunk from the edge of the path by a couple of inches.
The photos are all 'cold' ones this morning but great to see.
Off for a mammogram later, so will be having lunch out and then an afternoon finishing my book or doing ironing. (no prizes for guessing which I'll be doing)
Have a good day everyone.

It is cold here and a bit on the dark side, cars having lights on this afternoon. Been to Dun? Mill today, bought a large wall clock as I am fed up of not seeing the time on the mantle clock, its a bit like being in the school hall again.yes we didnt bother with Autumn this year straight into Winter, no messing.
