Thoughts on turning 50

Hi, I am compiling a photobook for my sister's 50th and aim to add 50 thoughts/short poems/words of wisdom/short anecdotes from people who have passed the milestone. I have collected quite a few but still need more before the weekend when I will have it printed.

I don't want quotes from anywhere else. I want it to be the poster's original thoughts and words - doesn't have to be profound or clever and only needs to be a few words. If you could add the name I can attribute the quote to, that would help. Otherwise, I would just use your user name.

thank you in advance.

Turning 50 was so long ago for me, I can't remember what it felt like much like turning 40 I think and nothing special. It seems a lifetime and a different world ago.

Good luck with your photo book Heather

That's great, thank you for your replies - I can certainly use some of these! My 50th was nothing special either. I think I went for a meal in a Thai restaurant - and I had to pay myself!

And I should have added that I'll be celebrating my 70th under Cameron.

Roll on 2020 when we'll get a decent Prime Minister (Jeremy Corbyn).
