What do people really know about politics these days? What have the MAJORITY ever known? Blair was a brilliant speaker and so was Cameron. They never hesitated in their soliloquy when under pressure. It generates belief in a person. They were masters at it. He can still cast a spell on people. It is a skill he will never lose. Only those in the know can oppose him so he shows his real self - his vulnerable underbelly. Just think Lord of the Rings and Saruman when Gandalf broke Saruman's staff. Only those with great strength and knowledge of their own can break the spell. Blair thinks he can still make his mark. I wouldn't put it past him. A very clever man. No-one should underestimate him - I certainly don't.
