Looks very nice Fruitcake.

Is it etched on glass?

Re: A Harrier Jump Jet has just landed in my garden.

It was given to me as part of a group award at work.
I also have another one with a jellycoptor in, but the pics didn't come out very well.

I believe the aeroplane is cut into the glass using a laser. It's a 3d image inside the glass, not etched on the outside.
I don't know how many were commissioned, but my guess would be, not very many.

I have another glass block that we bought on a visit to the Grand Canyon via the Grand Canyon Railway.

The blocks sit on a display mount with built in lights, but it is difficult to see the detail with the camera when they are illuminated.
