Ignore

Have you ever used this facility on here?
And if so what were the reasons?

I never have and don't think I would ever want to
Even if I don't agree with people I'm still interested in what they have to say
I'm not sure how to go about it any way, even if I did!

I have used it from time to time if a poster has really irritated me.

No Rhian I have never felt the need to use an Ignore option.

I know who I want to converse with and whom to avoid from reading topics.

It is about a posters modus operandi and attitude to others that decides it for me .

I have to confess I wouldn't know how to use the Ignore facility!! where is it? what happens and how does it work?
I wouldn't dream of using it. If someone keeps annoying me I just completely blank them.

You go to Control Panel and scroll down to Edit Ignore List...

But you're wasting your time because more often than not you'll see that person's posts when someone replies with the post included as a quote!

Nope,not so far..but been tempted a few times ...I just ignore long winded posts which take up almost the whole page and I find Myself dozing off halfway through

And it doesn't work when you're logged out.

In my more volatile days I have been known to use it but I've mellowed a bit now and hope I'm adult enough to just ignore what I don't like.

I just ignore what they have to say, pretend they don't exist

I find they don't have much to say anyway
