Snoring device.

I came across this gadget when I looked up anti-snoring devices and I wondered has anyone ever tried it and if so does it work? A bit weird looking aint it, if it works the next problem will be if she'll wear it, how do you go about asking your wife to stick that in her mouth without getting a belt of something?

Perhaps you stick it somewhere else so they can't sleep?

We found the cure - separate rooms So much quieter with 2 doors between us.

Re: Snoring device.

Funny onion. Phyllis has started off snoring again, I had a great long break up til now. There was that thing and another was a sort of chin strap that goes under the chin and over the head, she moves a lot in bed and I was afraid that she might accidentally hang herself if she caught it in the bedpost.
I thought that was a still picture, it is a bit frightening when it moves alright.

Ah we could never do that Julie, we've been in a double bed since we married.

Re: Snoring device.

You need to take snoring seriously.
Sleep apnoea is a serious sleep disorder and should be checked in a hospital sleep clinic. It is caused by the old relaxed muscle in the rear of the mouth and closes off the air intake and stops oxygen to the brain. It is the common cause of a heart attack or a stroke.
These devices you show should be not purchased in case it is something serious.Do not get the test done in your home where you wear a device to bed as this does not tell the full story.

Looks like a bit of a passion killer to me

I have found that I occasionally wake myself up with a loud snore, goodness knows how long I've been snoring before that happens !!
