I watched Catweazel (or bits of it) a few times, had no idea what it was about but found him strangely good looking!!!

Re: RIP Geoffrey Bayldon

For years my children had no idea why we said lec-trickery or called the phone a telling bone...it all became clear when they saw a dvd of catweazel.

Amazing how some childhood things just stick.,

Re: RIP Geoffrey Bayldon

Yes, fabulous series, and a first class example of childhood magic on the screen. I still use the words "electrickery" and "telling-bone" now and again, which shows what an impression the show made on me. I used to puzzle my kids when using "shemhamphorash" when revealing something dramatic like a birthday cake or a present.

I think I recall him using the words "salmi almi adoni" as well, or something like that. I really hope they show the series again so my grandsons can love it too.

We bought the box set from Amazon to show the kids they loved it just as much as we did, I must look it out for grace I think it would be something she'd like too. It's also on you tube I believe for free.
