She was a gracious lady there are not many memorable US first ladies but Jackie Kennedy, Barbara Bush and Michelle Obama are probably three that will be remembered. (Not so sure about Hillary Clinton - losing the unlosable election put a damper on her)
That woman seemed to do a good job as first lady. I doubt it will be long before her husband turns up his toes too, he seems to be in very poor health.
I liked Barbara Bush a down to earth woman not obsessed with her appearance and wardrobe who clearly had a genuine interest in making improvements in the lives of others.
Apparently her hair turned white in 1953 when her three-year-old daughter Robin died of leukaemia and she never attempted to cover up the reminder of her loss..
