Well,we have done it.

The USA, UK and France have attacked Syria..

We will have to wait and see what the response is.

According to the news our involvement was limited to four aircraft launched Cruise Missiles.

Russian State TV has said that this was an act of aggression against a Nation State and that they will respond.

Trump has named Iran as well as Russia as being complicit.

Russia and Iran have been the most successful Nations in defeating ISIS in Syria, when the West had failed.

The most logical step now for both Russia and Iran is to target US and UK backed anti Assad Militias in Syria.

This will inevitably mean more UK Casualties.

Neither Russia or Iran will give in to Shock and Awe Tactics like the Iraqis did.

They are both used to taking huge numbers of Casualties.

Iran in particular will never forget having hundreds of thousands of Casualties from the Chemical Weapons used by Iraq against them when we stood by and did nothing.

They will view this,quite rightly so,as pure hypocrisy on our part.

We must expect a response, and that response will be directed at our troops in Syria.

Both Russia and Iran simply cannot now allow Assad to fall.

Meanwhile, in the Yemen, both the USA and UK are standing aside to let Civilians being killed En Masse by Sunni Muslims,, the Gulf States, aid convoys being bombed and innocents being starved to death.

We have nothing to be proud of at all.

Mess gets wider I just hope Russia wasn't in any way harmed, retribution from them would mean a Third World War IMO

I doubt the missile strikes will have done any good at all, just increased the tension in that region. Trump is an idiot and as much danger to this planet as Putin, imo. Britain and France were crazy to get involved.
