Perhaps one of the requirements for prospective journalists these days is a degree in 'Meeja Studies'!

Re: Amateur TV channels

I find it incredible that there are roughly 600 channels on Sky but only the occasional programme is worth watching. Once you get past the first page there's not much hope really.

As for the Horror channel, I got quite excited when it was launched as I like a good horror film but so far, I have not seen one decent film on it. Same goes for the syfy channel.

Personally, I think TV was better before all these channels came along.

The only programme I watch on the amateur Horror channel is Star Trek: TNG.

I certainly can't blame you for watching Star Trek but shouldn't that be on SYFY rather than the horror channel?

I don't know what SYFY is, but as far as I know it isn't available on Freeview.

And I'm not paying for some other sort of channel!
