I have had two Beko appliances. One a cooker, absolute rubbish, the other a fridge freezer. I would never give another Beko product house room.

I think that can relate that to most manufacturers at times and i have seen it as i was in the trade...I once had a Indeset second hand w/m I thought it was brilliant so when it broke (even i couldn't fix it) we bought a new one umpteen repairs and went rusty in the first year scrapped by 18 months ...big argument with indeset so they discounted me a replacement...and guess what had the same results scrapped within 2 years as cost of repairs outweighed the cost of the machine soooo never again a indeset....However since then i always read reviews for any appliance including WHICH, and BEKO was definitely up there with the more well known makes ...but every one have and are entitled to their own opinions....

Val darlin' two little pieces of information for you to memorise - (i) ale of Goods Act

(ii) Not of merchantable quality!!!

Perhaps worth quoting in the complaint letter you are about to send them. Their after-sales service is despicable!!!

Re: Washing Machine Moans

Thanks all for your replies. I am going to give them til Friday and then call. I want to get the machine fixed before I write to Beko then I can tell them how much I have been forced to spend at the launderette. I bought Beko because I have been so pleased with their dryer so we shall see what happens

Had Indesit washer for 18yrs only prob was belt on drum broke and door seal had to be replaced but hubby's overalls were blamed for that. Re: Washing Machine Moans

Well the part will be in Monday and they are coming to fit it on Tuesday afternoon. Lets hope thats it but I will still be writing to Beko as not impressed with the time I have had to wait when the machine broke in a few weeks.

i would not put up with it either, you are entitled to a replacement or refund and should not let them mess you
about, i hope its sorted out for you it must be frustrating.

Sounds like a Friday Machine, mine is OK now but things dont last anymore. Most things are sloppy really, think its to make us buy more, and keep them in business.
