Tell me about it nero - I have been digging all day and I now feel every one of my 50 years.

Back to work on Monday, but the count down has begun for my retirement - 4 years, 11 months and 4.5 week

A picture would be nice---and have you remembered to put in guttering Nero?. Collect rain water into a big tub,and don`t forget to raise it/them on bricks or the tap will be too low to put a watering can under it

I'm convinced rain water is much better for the plants than tap water, ours has chlorine and flouride in it. I use it for all the houseplants and the seedlings.

Not quite finished, . . I had to pack it in, . . it was 36 degrees and I'm burned to hell, . . the place is a sun trap, . . . I've got 64 square foot of floor space, . . it's cost me just under £200, . . comparing that to the cost of a ready made one of 12 X 6 X 6 which costs around £800 it's a good saving, . . plus mine is 8 foot high.

The interior, . . those stone tubs will be good planters I think.

As you can see, the place is a sun trap.

I shall fly the Saltire from the white pole.

Why don't you erect a lean-to hot house like mine DM, . . it doesn't take up too much room.

The vents are still to fit OG, . . one will be on each end and the door will be open on hot days. . . a vent in the roof could lead to water ingress so I'll put them on the ends.
