I'm sure I posted in here earlier and it's vanished! Disaster area here - no water coming out of the hot taps and the plumbers have all gone to ground. Thank goodness for a big kettle on the Aga.

Pretty sure Rowser has a slow cooker Nimby. Has yours got a recipe book with it?

I've got a slow cooker.Don't use it so much in the Summer, but it's great for making warming stews in the Winter. It cooks a gammon joint to perfection.Living on my own one cooker full of stew makes me a few meals, freezing some.

As I typed that he drove into the yard. Two hours later - and he had to go and buy a bit of hose plus a washing machine switch - and a bill of £65, we are all sorted. It was an airlock and having watched what he did, I think I can sort it myself next time!

Grey day here and very damp so the washing will not be on the line. Have to go up to Church to sort the flowers, there is a funeral on Monday. And that will probably be my lot for today.

I was all set to have a wander around Mumbles. I've been feeling lousy all week and haven't been out since Monday but better today but its pouring down and looks as if its in for the day so cant see me bothering, don't really want anything urgently.
You've got me fancying Ham Hock now Enfys but it will have to be a pizza or something out of the freezer XX
Glad your pluming is sorted Sue

What an awful journey on the M4 this morning, speed limit down to 50,very heavy rain, wipers on full whack and dipped headlights.
Had a tour of the Grand Theatre in Swansea this morning.Very iinteresting.Didn't realise how big the backstage area was.The WNO performing Carmen there(sung in French!)It was fascinating to see all the props backstage.
Taking it easy for the rest of the day.

It years since I went there. Remember distinctly buying some geraniums on the way out! Lovely cold frosty morning and Lexi is here for a sleepover - her Dad is marshalling on a rally so won't be here to collect her until after lunch. Smallest grandson arriving shortly, so I must go and sort kitchen out.
