Re: 5-2 diet
A friend, intrigued by this eating plan found this article - it may interest some of you :Re: 5-2 diet
Following a recent diagnosis of type 2 Diabetes, I made a few small changes to my diet (I like my food too much to make radical changes) and managed to lose 1 stone in about 3 weeks. Despite celebrating my birthday last month and being treated to magnificent meals over in N orthern Ireland, I have maintained the weight loss. I have, on my return home, (a) made a mincemeat fruit loaf, (b) made a Rhubarb crumble. Despite eating some of these, I still haven't gained ant more weight.Re: 5-2 diet
Low carb diets do work and men particularly like them as they can have bacon and eggs, steak and salad, cheese, butter and stir fries. My husband has put on loads of weight during the summer while he has worked at the market where he can get hot chicken butties and other high carb stuff. On January 1st he will start eating chicken without the buttie and leave the carb trail behind.
