The Postie used to deliver before I got up. Now it's middle of the afternoon.The Milkman leaving bottles of fresh milk on the doorstep.Now it's a trip to the Supermarket.
The Doctor used to visit, if you called in.
Good mixed shops, like Woolworths - where would be be without them...well, now we know!
The Bobbie on the street.
Starting the car with a handle.
I could rabbit on....!

I do miss Newboulds bakery's we had a few in Middlesbrough when I was a kid and you could get all this stuff from there.
All gone now I believe.

There is little that I miss from the 'good old days' (most things are better now) but two things come to mind that could make a come back.Headlight dip switch on the floor.
A red light and a green light on the dash (all else is vanity)

Eh? Surely that's a good thing? They all start off green and turn yellow just buy them a day or so before you need them. Nothing worse than bananas that start turning brown.
