Re: Jacaranda Trees

Beautiful trees that I have seen in southern Spain. The first time there I was on a tour with some Australian people who identified them straight away. Not seen them anywhere else.

Such beautiful trees. I haven't seen them since I lived in Australia, so great to see your photos.

Loretta, I've seen a few jacaranda trees since being in Spain. They're just such a lovely colour

Re: Jacaranda Trees

Some years ago I saw pictures of Jacaranda trees and sent for some seeds and grew several up to 4 feet tall in pots in the house. Nice fast growers they were but soon out grew the space I had. Took them to my sister in Florida but they didn't reach flowering age. Also grew some other tropical trees and she still has them and they bloom every summer...can't remember the name but it could be Bauhinia. Your pictures are lovely

Re: Jacaranda Trees

I´m glad you all like them, they are so lovely when in bloom. Almost all finished blooming now and looking a bit jaded.
