Re: Downsizing

A large veg garden is great but it can become a chore. I`m leaving about 1/4 acre with two greenhouses and a poly tunnel for a `sensible`` garden with one greenhouse

There is lots that we'll miss Meg, but this place is much too large for us now and we need to plan for when we aren't so fit. Hopefully there will be room for a smaller veg plot wherever we end up and Mrs P certainly couldn't cope without some flower borders. We want to do it whilst we can still appreciate the adventure of moving rather than wait until it is forced onto us by a crisis of any sort. Still early days though, no takers on the horizon for this place as yet so we are still gardening as normal and will do so until we leave ...

Re: Downsizing

Ooh, I like the look of that!

When we downsized,it took us a while to adapt to much less space than we had before, but it was a move which had to be made, due to OH's ill-health and my arthritis.

I'm so glad that we moved when we did.

Work through your bank statement, most important will be there, you will find others but you can deal with those as and when they make contact.

Re: Downsizing

Hedges put you off? Try this. And yes I am going to accept a lot less than the asking price. It`s a nice pile but far too large for me.
