Re: old versus new (laptop vs ipad)
As for me, early this year I bought a laptop for myself, finished up with a wi fi mouse to run it and then gave it to my daughter, I found I was spending too much time on there, whereas on the tower I have to go to my spare room which has no distractions, I am happy to be with what I am most comfortable with.Re: old versus new (laptop vs ipad)

Aitch, I do not have an iPad so maybe I should go and buy one so that I will know what I am talking about.Re: old versus new (laptop vs ipad)
Antibrown, one of the problems with my brother is, he can not access the Internet, and as for reading the manual, you have to download it from the Internet, and if you dont know how to get on there, well that's the catch 22 question, and as I said earlier, the manual is 198 pages long, I am not afraid of technology, but my bro is a complete novice, why his daughter didnt get him an ordinary laptop to start with I dont know, well we will have to see what happens, another thing with my brother is, he has a very short fuse, if you get my drift.Re: old versus new (laptop vs ipad)
