I have the ideal compromise-drink the whisky and then,if they have a bottle bank,return the empty bottle

The same thing happened to my sister at Christmas when she bought a bottle of Cognac in Tescos, she took the receipt back and told them but they didn't charge her saying it was their mistake

Think I'd have to tell them, but like others have said they probably wouldn't charge you if you did....

Well - would you believe it

- went to the cupboard and found someone had got in there first - whiskey nearly one third gone now.

. Wasn't me - I hate the stuff and there is only one other suspect (him indoors

). Guess, I'll do what Azz says and make a donation to charity - I tend to favour Oxfam (or possibly Help the Aged

It sounds like that was the only item you bought, how could that item not be on your receipt?.
