Re: Snowdrops

The snowdrops certainly are a lovely sight.

I am getting little early bits of colour reappear now. There are the snowdrops, the blue anemone blanda's are beginning, a couple of early primsroses that are quite old plants now, and one or two of the little muscari's are out. Lovely.

Re: Snowdrops

Had a look at some large pots I have stored at the back of the garden during the winter months. The Tete a Tetes are doing nicely, the lovely Celendine is flowering and the primroses are looking healthy.

Have now brought them onto the patio so they can shine.

Re: Snowdrops

We have a few snowdrops bravely coming out - we only planted them a couple of years ago and I think they take a while to establish. The crocuses are just beginning to come out and the daffodils have started too.

My best buy last year was a Christmas Rose (Helleborus Niger) - I bought it in December, £1.50 from the market, and it is still blooming beautifully. If I'd know how well it was going to do I'd have bought more!

Re: Snowdrops

No sign of them up here yet, but we are colder than you ones down south. It always cheers me when I see the wee clumps of them coming up in the woods....
