A very nice man. He was one of the many famous people that I picked up in my cab a few times.

As I said in the other one, a nice man, one of the many famous people I had the pleasure of him being a client in my cab.

R.I.P. Peter - another talent gone. No more Wallace and Gromit then - wasn't he in the animated version of Wind in the Willows as well ?

He first came to prominence in a magnificent BBC drama series, back in the 1950s which unfortunately has never been repeated, Samuel Pepys Diaries. With his passing, perhaps the BBC can be persuaded to search and locate this series amongst its archives.
