Good morning all last evening/night's heavy rain has resulted in today feeling more bearable, it is a comfortable 18ºC now.

I need to tackle some ironing and packing today, fortunately we have a washing machine in our holiday appartment so no need to take piles of clothes for 3 weeks.

buenas dias all. A late start at the computer for me today. It´s tremendously hot today and if we are lucky we might get a storm and some rain, who knows? We have been out for Sunday lunch with neighbours, 3 Germans, 1 who speaks no English, a fairly new Finnish lady who has already become a good friend, a Filipino lady married to a German and our Swedish/Hungarian/Croatian neighbours, 8 of us in total. We had a lovely meal in excellent company, can´t ask for more than that. When people are so friendly and nice the language barrier really doesn´t exist.
