If you can't hold it in your hands while you eat it it's not a proper pie.

You must have very small pie dishes down your way. My pies are more like Desperate Dan's Cow Pies - so big you'd need a forklift to pick them up with!

We have pies of all sizes here, I live in the pie capital of England.

I have loved some of these jolly answers, had a good grin. I was always taught that a pie should have a base, sides and top, else not a true pie.
