I expect apes like people have different ways of communicating
Whales that travel in pods speak their own language even though they maybe of the same species.
There was no such thing as the Kings English until the advent of the railway .People spoke English with the dialect of where they were reared as the average person did not travel very far .The King up for several generations spoke English with a German accent .
The present Queen talks like the Queen although in latter years even she doesn't sound as much like the Qween as she once did !
Received pronounciation ( supposedly spoken by the more educated classes ) or BBC English was generally AIUT thought to come into being with the invention of radio .

Yes ....... but. A Scotsman speaks French distinctly from that of an Englishman.

People tell me, I have no accent!
When I came to live in England from Ireland when I was four, I had an Irish accent.
It's actually quite interesting how your accent can change so easily!!
