WhatsApp, Google Maps, BT Wi-fi(to connect me to BT wifi when I'm out) and Bus Scout( when I'm busing it. It tells me where nearest bus stop is and time of next bus)

It's all bonkers, today I saw on the BBC, a 3D, printed replacement of some of the artefacts, destroyed by ISIS in Syria, whatever next?

The one I saw on the news was a computer-driven machine that cut accurate reproductions of the destroyed artefacts in stone.

I wonder whether any of the IZAL sub-humans were watching. If so, I bet that annoyed them somewhat!

But what's that to do with apps?

Perhaps spitty wants a 3D cutting app ? Imagine what he could achieve with one of those

Or the study going on in Norway/ Sweden (can't remember which) figuring out how well dogs respond to robots !

I first thought "who put money up to fund that ?".

Then it was pointed out that they can probably interact with drones in search and rescue missions.

Re: What is your favourite app ?

My £10 mobile phone that I only use for texting because phone calls are too expensive doesn't have apps

I have a limited budget and spend it with care and a posh mobile phone is well down my list of priorities.
