I can't stand dramas without subtitles because you miss so much of the dialogue through mumbling and facing away from the camera, dim lighting etc.
Subtitles are the best thing since sliced bread!

Oooh no, not for me ruthio. Drive me potty they do.The words sometimes go across a bit of light background on the screen and I can't see them properly, or else they whizz them off again before I've finished reading them.
Then while I am trying to read, I miss the expressions on the actors faces. So I look up to see their face, to see whether they are laughing or angry or what, then the flippin' words have gone again!
No no no, not for me.

I watched The New Series on C4 on Tuesdayit seemed to go at a slow pace and Montalbano's girl friend has been replaced by a different Actress.
It was also quite long. 90 minuets with lots of false leads
about who murdered the 70 year old prostitute.
Look forward to the next one.
However on you YouTube they have lots of trailers of all the series and videos of the series being made as well.
