I posted yesterday that it would have been my Aunts birthday on 29th, although she passed away a few weeks ago. Yesterday her husband, my uncle, passed away unexpecteldy and peacefully in his sleep. His heart was broken after 70 years of mariage. So a sad morning.

Off to the hospital soon to take Michaels birthday presents.

I had the great daffodil hunt last night. M & S didn't sell them as the hospital do not allow flowers. Called at huge Tesco on the way home, not a daffodil in sight. Went to a small local Tesco and there they were, waiting for me. In desperation I almost bought Leeks in Tesco. They may not allow flowers in the hospital, but they don't ban vegetables I am sure.

Rainy and cold today .
Cancelled my pub-lunch , not feeling too good but daughter popped down for a cuppa

Very cold wind with sleet this morning so just a short walk.
Put the heating back on, staying in the warm today.

Gusty wind....hail and sleet......and sun!
Off to Portsmouth tomorrow for lunch at the Gunwharfs on Friday and then on to Bournemouth to meet up with DP's son and new girl who apparently is the one!!

Sunshine and showers with a chilly wind .
Went to see a different Doc this morning but all she could suggest was a stress management course so will try that even though I'm not convinced it will help. Bludy old age lol

Cold out this morning but dry.
Went shopping earlier,don't know why but the people serving in shops seem to be miserable.The worse one was the girl on the No7 counter in Boots it was obvious that she didn't want to help and didn't want to be there.The chap in the phone shop made up for it he was really cheerful,restored my faith in the human race!

Nice sunny day here, still a bit nippy but looks like we have got the best of the weather . Just popped out to pick up my meds and in for he rest of the day
