Sad indeed. I remember watching a documentary about how he first had the idea and brought it to fruition. A bit of an uphill struggle, I believe.

Kudos to him for what he created. The characters were so real years ago. But I wonder if he was disappointed with how it has evolved in recent years.

True. It is heavily PC these days, and continues to expand its remit to include every minority imaginable.

If this goes on, the traditional white English people of Coronation Street will soon form a minority all of its own!

I was looking at Todd Grimshaw tonight and suddenly realised that his scar was missing - the one that was supposed to disfigure him for life.

Isn't it wonderful what these plastic surgeons can do?
