I used to buy the sun I used to enjoy doing the crossword in my lunch break , but stopped as it's full of rubbish made up stories , plus I don't seem to get a proper lunch break anyway
I read the Sydney Morning Herald daily for over 40 years and did the cryptic crossword every day (except Friday). Once I retired and they were on line I stopped buying the paper.
Now I get all my news on line from the ABC, the SMH, Aljazerra and the Guardian. In a way it has been sad to see the decline of quality journalism to the point where it now routinely rehashes news releases but it is entirely our own fault.
I don't bother reading any of the online papers anymore because they take too long to load and the pages jump around to much. Every article is interrupted by an ad and the links also contain too many ads.
