Why is it...Columnists don't bear any resemblance to the photo in the paper.
Tv programmes showing real life incidents (or even You've Been Framed) show the same video clip half a dozen times.
People being interviewed on tv repeat words (on Crimewatch Roadshow just now the police woman repeated the word parrot constantly.)
