Nothing special, my middle name is Roxanne and as there were 4 girls in my class at school with the same first name as me, our teacher asked if some of us would like to use our middle names. As I hate my first name I quickly agreed, I went from Roxanne to Roxy to Rox, it stuck and the only person who calls me by my first name (cringe) is my mother.
