Ahhh - -Things like this always come a bit too late.

Before this week, I would have given your offer some serious consideration, but it was our 64th wedding anniversary and I'd feel quite badly breaking the news to my wife.

Maybe some other lucky fellow will step up.

I don't know how true this is but passed down to me as family history, so make of it what you will.

My Fathers side came from North Wales centuries ago when what I was told there were about 7 different little "kingdoms". I was told that one of them was ruled by an ancestor of mine.

I have to take that as very questionable but again as i was told the family crest(never seen it) had rampant lions supporting it, and that was only allowed on "royal " coat of arms.

Personally I think my mother got it all wrong, but that is what I was told even though my surname is derived from the Welsh language originally

Ooh, is it St David's day today? Reminds me of a woman I used to work with, who, every St Davids day would nick daffodils from the local park to bring to work and keep on her desk.
