nother glorious day here - had a quick shopping trip to Tesco in Llandrindod. Don't usually shop there, but there were a couple of things I know I can't get in Aldi and didn't feel like doing two stops! Washing done and out on the line and I have peeled my one potato (!) Saved myself some of the casserole I made for Groesvaen so that's lunch taken care of. Must go out after lunch and pick daffodils for Church. We're off up there tomorrow to clean and get ready for service on Sunday (first one since 20th December). Wonder how many people we'll get there.

Glorious day yesterday,typically not so nice today as I'm having a family get together in the garden.Son no2 coming for the weekend.Eldest grandson coming for the afternoon-haven't seen him since September.So two members of the clan crossing into Wales later.The others haven't so far to come.
Looking forward to some precious family time.Will need tomorrow to recover!

I took a bucketful of daffodils up to the Church this morning and left my breadmaker chugging away while I was out. Tried a new loaf with half granary flour and half white. Had bread and strawberry jam for tea and it was delicious.

One big hiccup today. My battery charger seems to have died and we have run out of batteries for the thermometer to take Rob's temperature - ah well, he'll have to go without until tomorrow.

Sunny this morning but a bit chilly.
Had a lovely afternoon with the family yesterday.Having another get together end of the month,son has booked a large house for us for a long weekend.Something to look forward to.

Still wrestling with the battery problem. DIL found some new ones at her house so popped over there to fetch them, but the thermometer still won't work. Will have to buy some expensive ones from the supermarket tomorrow and try those. Charger ordered from Amazon still hasn't arrived.

Lovely day here and the washing is all out on the line. Coming back from DIL's place found a friend walking her dog and stopped for a chat. She is still being extremely cautious and won't come to Church or go anywhere except for a ride with her daughter in the car. Think there's going to be a lot of people like that, this virus is going to be with us for some time to come.

Lovely sunshine but a nip in the air .I.ve just done my Tesco order. Dates are easier to get now .
My daughter was in Mumbles yesterday and said it was roofed out with lots of teens drinking cans on the prom

Lovely sunshine after a frosty start.
Son no2 took me to cemetery this morning,thought the roads would be busy but the traffic was quiet,people must have gone down West yesterday.
No plans for the rest of the day.

Did you see the pics of Cardiff Bay after everyone left their rubbish there? You can't believe how sleazy people can be, can you. Lovely sunshine here, but the wind is really cold. Went down to Hay first thing (for batteries mainly) and thank goodness the thermometer is working again. Would you believe I had one battery in the wrong way round? How dull can you get....
