Another glorious day of sunshine. Amazing how much water the tups are drinking - I have to fill their tub up every day. Also watered my acer on the patio this morning. I forgot all about it in that dry spell we had last year and it was a wonder it didn't expire.

Made sausage rolls this morning - managed to restrain myself to only eating one!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I watched the funeral - after delivering sausage rolls to the farm and inspecting all the new calves - and the older ones to see if they've grown! Was so sorry for the Queen. Thought she looked frail when she got out of the car and can't understand why Charles couldn't have accompanied her for support. Surely what every eldest son would do for his Mum. The armed forces were magnificent, as usual, and the pall bearers were amazing - going up all those steps. Just imagine if one had faltered.

Chris came over about 5 pm and we tried to sort out the tubs for the runner beans, only to discover that one bag of compost was full of ants! Didn't find that out until we'd tipped the bag in of course, so I've been pouring boiling water over all and hoping for the best.

Lovely sunny morning again.
Ventured to Matalan this morning-Nice to be able to buy clothes again.Don't like buying clothes on line-like to see what I'm buying on the hangers.Shoppers on the whole were behaving but there's always a few twits about.
Keep safe.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Busy day yesterday. Had three visitors, plus two dogs and eldest grandson came and mowed the lawn. Always the same isn't it? All or nothing.

Been quiet today, though I enjoyed picking up the boys from the school bus, saw some of the neighbours doing the same.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Another lovely day and another line full of washing out. Am eyeing up the living room curtains, but they are such a lot to handle, don't think I'll bother.

Yes Rhosyn, I am watching the snooker!

Ordered some flowers yesterday for a friend's birthday later this week and I am now inundated with adverts everywhere I go on line for different firms selling them! So annoying.
