Re: "Mists and mellow fruitfullness".

My late brother-in-law told me that the autumn colours are good in CT because there's very little soil. I miss going there, when I find my "sugar daddy" first place he's taking me!
Those fungi are scary!

Re: "Mists and mellow fruitfullness".

Twizard, love your photos but keep the "coons there! They are such pests...rest are very good to see.
Wallyron, I have seen fungi like that but can't remember where or where are my photos..

I haven't seen a crabapple tree in years so I am not certain but think this is one...

Black walnuts are a big crop this year...have never found a way to crack them!

I am told these are Winter berries, I don't know for sure but they are pretty to look at.

A type of dogwood that grows here as a pest tree...the flowers a tiny green ones but the berries are nice to look at and birds like them after the freeze good.

Wild grapes as I have never seen them before...usually birds grab them before they ripen fully but such a big crop this year the birds didn't keep up...wish I could make some jelly from some...

Just some of the fall fruits around my home..hugs, Shirley
