Re: Apple Mac

My stepson is an Hons grad in IT and, like us, an Apple nut. He recommended the free home version of Sophos and that is what I have. It runs a scan automatically once a week (or whatever time you set it for) and then isolates any spyware etc.

I think you will find it is:

http://www.libreoffice.org/

That link should take you to the latest Mac version (I am not a Mac user but use the Windows version)

Re: Apple Mac

Love my Apple Lap Top, Ipad but need a new Iphone. Upgraded my Laptop with a bigger hard drive and extra RAM but on newer versions apparently can't do that.

For my Ipad I bought a small bluetooth keyboard for $21.00 much easier with arthriticy fingers another good purchase for IPad was the Camera Connection Kit, made sending photos from digital camera to Camera roll so easy.

Changing connectors for latest Apple products was annoying tho" means purchasing new cable adapters.

Great if there were to be an Apple Club sticky.

Re: Apple Mac

Vivity - me too. My partner and I both have Apple everything! I use a stylus for the keyboard on the ipad and find that is fine for me but I do find the keyboard on the iphone very small and often get very strange autotext changes to what I think I've written. However, they are much easier to carry round outside and I found it extremely useful while we were overseas.
