Oh yes I agree with you Barry,a cross breed is always healthier than a pedigree, and you have a longer time with them.

You're the first person I've heard to say that Annie, I loved the smell when they came in from the rain or a damp morning. Another gorgeous smell (apart from puppys which is the absolute best) is their paws, really earthy and clean smell. Everyone else I know hates it.

Will smell Phoebe's feet next time she gets wet,but not if she has been up the Lane as she smells of a farm yard. She also brings home decomposed animals in her mouth and the first you know is when she puts them on the rug.... lovely.

Oh how lovely for you Annie I hate this time of year as the dogs get very smelly as everywhere is so wet and mud is everywhere
