Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

While it was overcast, although very warm, I took the opportunity to clean all my green house out and a few other heavy outside jobs. Just as i was finishing it started to rain, but hasn't come to much. It did mean though that I had to get everything back inside rather quickly, as I was using an extension lead etc.

It poured most of yesterday, rain so incredibly heavy. Woken to rain again. Great. That summer didn't last long but at least I don't have to spend hours watering the garden.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

We are well and truly in the clouds here this morning. Rained all day yesterday and the forecast is for more today. Upside is that the grass is growing and the sheep are happy! Lexi has come for a couple of sleepovers so we were strolling down the road (accompanied by Missy) this morning at 7 am.

Went to Craft Club last night and our hostess offered us a snack I've never had before - broad beans, roasted and salted. Apparently you can buy them in M&S and the Coop. They were really different.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Had a lovely day yesterday despite the rain.Had coffee at Castlemare and couldn't see the lighthouse!Had lunch in The Mad Hatters-very nice fish and chips.Have you been in there Jac?Don't know how the lorries are going to cope delivering to the Tesco there. My friend was looking forward to visit Treasure,I forgot to tell her it was no more.
Went shopping early this morning now in for the rest of the day.
Those broad beans snacks are very moorish,Sue.
