You are, of course, entitled to your opinion, T.But I prefer people who write their own material and actually play an instrument.
The gentleman in my avatar plays 4 instruments (guitar, piano, harmonica and clarinet), reads music and is a musicologist (he has a degree in it). His dissertation of the Eagles hit 'One Of This Nights' was rated the best ever done by a student.
Which is more than can be said for bimbo pop princesses and crappy male teen idols.
Ledin, Springsteen, Farnham, Collins, Adams, Carrack, Richie and Bowie forever!
