ITs the road at the side of MAM Tor from Castleton . The other name for Mam Tor is the Shivering Mountain because the shale moves along with the road ..The road is no longer passable by cars

Phew! Someone will come on Big Wheel with me.

Lovely photos of the Peak District. I'm not a walker but have been to Castleton and Bakewell many times.

Good morning all.

Hope you have got something nice planned for today. I had an early start - school run with grandchildren - dancing this afternoon.

Eliza .... hope you're soon up to speed

CC is a happy bunny now she has a buddy (or maybe buddies) to go on the big wheel with (it all went pear shaped last time ... phew )

See you later ...

Don't think I would have the courage to go on it even if Richard Gere was waiting for me when I got off

Re: Over 50s Club Manchester/Cheshire

Hi everybody - I've had a lovely day. Went to the local pool with Paula (daughter in law) & baby Josh (20 months) Josh's first introduction to a swimming pool. He wasn't too happy at first but soon began to enjoy it. Still a bit nervous of it though - we want to get him used to water before his holidays.

I haven't done much else today - I called to see my daughter on the way back & chat to my grandson Charlie who's home from Uni for the summer.

How many on here child mind their grandchildren I wonder? I have Josh 2 or 3 times a week depending on Paula's shift..
