Roast chicken dinner for us today, and we will have roast beef and Yorks pudds tomorrow.
I consider good roast dinners to be easy and nutritious and always enjoyable.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

Have removed chicken pieces from freezer and they are now quietly defrosting. Later this morning I will peel and chop the veg, make a little gravy and then place the veg and chicken in a roasting tin in the oven. Have frozen chocolate puddings in freezer - will have one of those for 'pudding'.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

Lamb chop in fridge, been defrosting since yesterday, and I will have my usual roasties...potato, sweet potato, parsnip and kohl rabi. And perhaps some carrots and peas, and mint sauce gravy.

Might make some custard to go with a banana.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

My lamb chop dinner was wonderful! Did the roasties, then put the chop in the oven under the grill, then put everything back in a warm oven to all warm up again. Absolutely delicious.

And for dessert, 3 small panckes, with a small amount of heated cheap maple syrup and cream.
