I have to sleep sitting up in bed, due to severe reflux. I tend to sleep about 4 hours or so a night. I drop off, wake up, watch TV, drop off....etc throughout the night. I find the TV is my best friend. I put it on a timer, then try to watch a programme I am keen to see, it seems if I try to stay awake, I nod off. I must admit it can take a few attempts to actually watch the programme in its entirety.

The World Cup (footie) on the radio was fabulous.
The roar of the crowd just did it for me in minutes.


OH was not interested in football ... he had a BRAIN



Booze and sleeping tablets seem to work OK
