Well that sounds reasonable on the money front, so what are the reasons they are not accepting it is the question.

I know it's anethema to some but yes I do ask questions before forming an opinion, I can recommend it to you particularly as it does help I find to know something about subject before making comment.

What a bunch of overachieving whiners.
They get well paid they have a job which gives them both status and satisfaction .
How many of their patients are people on zero hours contracts one wonders and have to wait in line for the attentions of these greedy elitists?

Re: Junior Doctors strike.....

I was a Trades Union representative when I worked for a living and appreciate the difficulties involved in employer/employee negotiations.
The difference here is that when our negotiating team reached agreement with the management and that agreement was recommended to the workforce by the union officials we, as a workforce, usually accepted the recommendation .... We believed in democracy and our elected officials and acted in a gentlemanly manner and not as petulant school kids.
If we voted against the recommendation, we would send the negotiating team back to the table to iron out the differences.
The JD's problems are self inflicted and need to be resolved with the BMA and not with the NHS management and government.

What was the outcome of all this? I can't recall hearing how it ended up?

I don't know their thoughts, but is it possible that they, like some on here, are worried about suspected government plans to privatise the NHS?
