it is a "Hair Stripping Knife" for Teazle coat. Some dogs molt, some dogs have their coat clipped.

Sorry JBR it is not that either, so have another go.

I think I will let this one run for the time being to see what anyone thinks it is. I asked Sue my wife what she thought it was and she didn't know until I showed her, so it isn't going to be easy
