Re: grapes

What will you do with them realspeed? They look great and are a long way ahead of ours. Ours have seeds and nobody really wants them, I usually deseed a few for fruit salads but there are so many a lot get wasted. We tried making wine one year but weren't keen on the result, also tried making jam.

Cass

The vine was here when we bought the place so no idea of age,but we cut it back a lot about 3 years ago and it seems to have done it good

Val
I was going to ask how big your feet were, and if they were small enough to tread the grapes in a bucket for me, but I don't think we will have enough for that

This is the vine trailing over the trellis panel

Re: grapes

It looks very healthy realspeed. Ours is in the greenhouse with the root in the ground just outside. We cut it back every year but it just gets bigger and bigger!

Re: grapes

no doubt you saw my greenhouse project a couple of years ago . One of the main things was to get a greenhouse to fit between the fence and the vine. i wanted a proper glass greenhouse not one of those plastic sided jobs.
i did find a company the made one that fitted in nicely after a lot of double checking

rough framework to size of greenhouse after clearing area of old log shed and loads of rubble. just enough room to fit it in. 5x4 ft

behind all cleared and slabbed now
