Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Evening All Not the warmest of days lol. Been just messing about here n there all day.
Put up a couple of threads in the Politics section. Lots of views but only May answers.
How quiet the usual suspects are eh? Very strange....Wonder what they're up to.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning All Ouch Ouch Ouch, I've been up most of the night with an attack of Gout in my big toe Even the duvet is hurting it. No swimming for me today as I'd not be able to put enough weight on it to climb out of the pool.
Will have to be at the Doctor's for 8am when they open as I need to see someone today. If I try phoning I'll not be able to get through, and by the time I do.....there's no emergency appointments left. so it's easier to be there and get one from the receptionist..

Good evening everybody. Roxy hope you managed to get an appointment today. May the weather wasn't to good either here today, we had snow again and I was glad I booked a taxi for the station.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
Does anyone on this thread observe Lent and, if so, what do you give up?

Enjoy your lunch - perhaps you could finish off with biscuits and cheese, washed down with a wee glass of port even?

LT I used to observe Lent but not now. May I'm sure you'll find something you like on the menu. I drink mostly white wine now and have the occasionally glass of red.

Morning All Bright and sunny here but the wind chill must be well below freezing. Am just heading off to the pool as my toe's on the mend and I should be able to climb out of the pool ok. Then into the Jacuzzi for a nice hot soak. Sigh....Bliss.
