Of course but how would a lady know whether a man is wealthy or not. Some of the men are crafty and go to great length to hide their wealth.

I imagine if I had been told that I posted the same thread twice, I would have just said "Whoops, sorry, so I did", and laughed it off.

Nothing whatever to do with taking forums seriously, I just remember repeat conversations.
I am not going off on one I was just stating a fact, that is all.

Re: Looks or personality?

I think personality is more important than looks. What's the point being with someone who is amazingly good looking but has no soul and is not on the same wavelength as you.

And that's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😁

Re: Looks or personality?

My parents were considered very good looking. When I was about 12, I remember an older girl asking me if I could provide her with a photo of my father, so she could put it on her bedroom wall! I didn't oblige.

Often a different set of posters respond to a similar thread, in the same way an age old thread is often revived but new posters respond to the same topic with fresh views.

Re: Looks or personality?

The thing is you don't know what someone's personality is like unless you get to know them.
Usually people are attracted by looks first or chemistry of some sort.
Sometimes chesmistry is electric .
I remember a man I knew slightly many years ago ( nothing in it at all ) but instant chemistry was so great even thinking about it makes my toes curl

Solvent gives a longer lasting high but one helluva headache.
